Petra Garcia-Galvan

Petra's happy moments were spending time at family gatherings and seeing all her family united and happy. Playing chalupa with family was one of her favorite hobbies. Petra loved to dance. She was always the life of the party.

Petra is survived by her husband, Juan Rodriguez Galvan Jr of Santa Rosa; her sons Juan Galvan III (esmeralda), Jesse Galvan, Jose (China) Marcos Galvan (Lucy), Ramon Galvan (Karen Betts), and Fidel Galvan (Delia); her daughters Amalia Galvan (Nicholas Losoya), Yolanda Galvan (Juan Garcia), Norma Galvan, Maria Galvan (Lalo Zapata), Raechel Galvan (Noe Cabrera II); and her siblings Benita Ramos, Maria Valladares, San Juanita Casanova, Sylvia Ramirez, Jo Ann Lazos and Martin Rangel.

Petra was the best grandmother to 49 grandkids, 23 great-grandkids, and 4 on the way that she couldn't wait to meet.

Petra is preceded in death by her mother Margarita Lazos, her father Pedro Garcia; and her brothers David and Thomas Rangel.

A visitation for Petra will be held Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A funeral mass will occur Monday, July 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 502 S Canal Street, La Feria, Texas 78559 following the mass will be a burial at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, TX.

She will be missed tremendously.
