RaqueL Castillo 88 a lifelong resident of Mercedes Tx. passed away peacefully at home on a beautiful Sunday at 9:48 pm surrounded by her family. Raquel was married to her love of her life Felix Castillo for 66 years. She survived by her children Ninfa Oviedo (Luz) grandchildren, Erica Garcia (Mario) Eric Echavarria (Jessica) Erin Garcia (Rene), her daughter Nora Castillo Grandchildren; Ruby Gonzales + Joel Jullan Castillo, Marianna Perez (Art) grandchildren Arturo Perez Jr. (Andrea), Arlene Perez , Ayla Perez, Andrew Perez (Brizza), George Luis Castillo ( Diana), grandchildren; Stephanie Saldivar (Jesse), Jeffrey Felix Castillo ( Savanna), Bertha De La Torre (Martin) grandchildren; Rudy M De La Torre, Ruth De La Torre, Rosemary De La Torre, Robert Castillo (Marcie), Mona Lisa Cisneros (Alejandro), Kalista Castillo, Katrina Castillo, Karlo Roberto Castillo, Kaleb Cristian Castillo, Connie Saldivar (David), Troy Trevino, Thomas Saldivar, Tatiana Saldivar, Sue Ann Guzman (Horacio), Mathew N. Guzman (Samantha), Melanie N. Guzman and Megan N. Guzman.

Visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, on March 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with a Rosary on March 11, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

A Chapel Service will take place on March 12, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, US, on March 12, 2026, at 11:00 am.
