I just heard the news today. This saddens me. I hadn't seen Rene in twenty years, but I think about him often. Music he introduced me to in middle school is still very much a part of my daily life. There are some songs that always make me remember Rene. That will never change, especially now.
My deepest sympathies to his family. He was much too young. May you always remember the good times you had.
