Reynaldo Herrera

Reynaldo “Nayo” Herrera, 76, of Donna, Tx, entered eternal rest on June 5, 2026.

Born on May 2, 1950, in Weslaco, Tx, Reynaldo was the son of Ramon Herrera and Maria Regalado. Throughout his life, he was known for his warm personality, generous heart, and remarkable sense of humor. He brought joy to those around him and was cherished for his ability to make others laugh. Reynaldo enjoyed attending his adult daycare, where he formed many friendships and looked forward to socializing with others.

He is survived by his daughter, Margarita Herrera Reyna (Rigo Martinez), and her children, Angelica, Arturo Jr, Eddie (Kaithlyn), Selena, Estefany Sosa-Perez (Sergio and Danny Reyna; his son, Raynaldo Gallegos (Elizabeth), and their children, Sabrina, Justin, Jonathan, Zachary and Lucas. He is also survived by his siblings, Ambrosio, Daniel and Rosa Herrera; 36 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Herrera and Maria Regalado; his siblings, Genoveba, Raymundo, Hortencia, Maria, Jose, Ramon Jr, and Gilberto Herrera; and his beloved granddaughter, Lexy (Gallegos).

Reynaldo will be remembered for his cheerful spirit, quick wit, and the happiness he brought to his family and friends. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will remain in hearts of all who knew him.
