Keith was born on his grandparents’ farm in Brooklyn, Illinois. He grew up in Scott’s Neighborhood as the oldest of three children. He graduated high school in Plymouth, Illinois in 1940 and shortly entered the U.S. Army for WW II where he was deployed to Europe.
Upon his return Keith purchased his own farm on Nubbin Ridge near Augusta, Illinois. He married Mable Creasy in 1949 and in 1951 they had their son Scott.
Keith and Mabel are survived by their son Scott, his wife Marguerite, their son Nathan, his wife Amanda and great-granddaughter Sasha.
Keith’s wishes were to be cremated and his remains to be buried next to Mable in Scott’s Cemetery in Plymouth, Illinois.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 @ 6:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home.
