She spent her younger years in Waco, Texas. Beth married William Money on September 20, 1952. Bill’s career in the U.S. Air Force took them all over the world. She was a housewife and mother of 4 children. She opened Beth’s Antique shops in Oklahoma City. She loved to go out to lunch with her friends. She was truly a Southern Belle. Beth was a winter Texas for 3 years. She loved the island and moved to South Padre Island in 2005. Beth loved walking on the beach with her tiny dog Tia. She enjoyed breakfast at Yummies, lunch at the Wanna Wanna and dinner at the Brewery! No matter where she went, she never met a stranger. She enjoyed the friends she met at Club Padre and kept in touch with many. Beth then started looking for a spot with no Red Tide. She moved to Golden Palms in Harlingen and continued to be the Island Cheerleader! Beth took a bad fall and ended up at The Spear Home, also in Harlingen, where she lived out her final days. Always cheerful, she will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Katherine Combs, her husband Bill of 45 years, a sister Jean Stutt. She is survived by a sister Barbra Ann Cox(B.W.), children Linda Gail Boeckman (Mark) Benton, Arkansas, Paula Kay Snyder (Karl) Mount Pleasant, Texas, Elizabeth Carter Money (Diane) South Padre Island, Texas, William Clifford Money (Laura) Macon, Georgia; grandchildren Abbey and Luke Boeckman, Wayne Snyder and Adrianna Snyder Rose, Sarah, Rachel, and Caleb Money.
