Steven DeBoom

Steven DeBoom, 81, raised in Spencer, Iowa, and a resident of Ranchero Village in Weslaco, Texas, for the past 7 years passed away on April 1st, 2025. Steven was a beloved husband, father, grand and great- grandfather, brother in law, and uncle and friend known for his devotion to those he cared for.

He was preceded in death by their son Steven Jeffrey DeBoom, his mother, Jean, and his father, Fritz. Steven leaves behind his devoted wife of 59 years, Ann, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories.

Steven found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially traveling with Ann and friends, morning coffee with the guys, and playing in the table tennis tournaments with friends at Ranchero Village. His dad taught him to play as a child, and he continued to love it.

Steven's legacy will live on through the love he gave his family, friends, and community. He will be remembered for his quiet spirit, his sense of humor, and his dedication to his wife, Ann.

A private family service will be held in Sioux City, Iowa, at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Ranchero Village for friends; date to be announced.

Steven will be missed deeply. May he rest in peace.
