Victor George Miller

Born on March 26, 1937, in Vernon, New York, Victor lived a life marked by service, hard work, family, and friendship. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he played the clarinet in the military band and preformed with fellow musicians during his time in the service. Music remained one of his lifelong passions.

For more than 35 years, Victor worked as a barber, earning the respect and friendship of countless customers. After retiring, he made his home in Harlingen, Texas, where he enjoyed a well-earned retirement. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, horseshoes, photography, and dancing with friends. An accomplished photographer, Victor received recognition for his award-winning photographs of Alaska, reflecting his deep appreciation for the outdoors and God's creation.

Victor was a proud lifetime member of the Benevolent and Protective Orders of Elks, an organization he valued throughout his life.

Above all, Victor's greatest joy was his family. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, kind heart, quiet humor, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Victor Allan Miller and his wife, Lisa; Steven Micheal Miller and his wife, Amy; David Paul Miller and his wife, Jan; and Sandra K. Lagasse and her husband, Frank. He is also survived by his sister, Sarah "Sally" Thurston, and his many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy throughout his lifetime.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Beverley Miller Sadlowski; his brothers, Bernard Miller and James Miller; and his grandson, Daniel Lagasse and his previous wives Fern Harris Nancy Witchley and Darleen Thomasson.

In respecting Victor's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. His family will honor and celebrate his life privately, remembering the love, laughter, and lasting legacy he leaves behind.
