Virginia M. Coakley passed away September 22, 2021. She was born July 2, 1924 in Webster Springs, W. Virginia. The daughter of J. Floyd and Naomi Rice. She is survived by her son Stephen of Arizona and sister-in-law Bonnie (Denver) Rice of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband Garlan John, daughter-in-law Panor (Stephen) Coakley, sister Belva Cogar, brothers Bernard, James, Calvin and Denver.
Virginia belonged to the First United Methodist Church in La Feria and Retired Senior Volunteer program. She enjoyed helping at the food bank and Loaves and Fishes.
Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria will handle cremation arrangements.
