It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of William R. Buchanan (Buck), who left the world on September 17, 2025 at the age of 78. He was a devoted father, a loving family man and a kind soul who touched the lives of everyone who knew him and a proud Veteran of the United States Army . William Buck will be remembered for his smile, sense of humor, generous heart, hard working spirit and the countless memories he leaves behind with his family and friends. His presence in our lives was a gift and his absence leaves an ache in our hearts.
He is survived by his only daughter Monica Yazzie (Chrissie), his grandchildren Ashley Araiza (Allie Mae), Alyssa Araiza, Allison Araiza (Angel), Jaime Araiza Jr. and his great grandchildren Aiden Mendoza, Arabella Mendoza, who will continue to honor his legacy by living with the same love and strength he showed everyday. He is proceeded in death by his wife Irene Z Buchanan, his mother Carrie Beyer, father James B. Buchanan, his brother Robert Buchanan. Though his is gone, his love and memory will forever remain with us.
