He had battled with a brain tumor for 17 years. Although his body finally lost the long, fierce battle with the tumor, Michael never lost the love in his heart, his sense of humor, his faith in God, or his will to endure. As his loved ones witnessed his "outer nature... wasting away" they also witnessed his "inner nature... being renewed day by day".
Michael graduated from Western Kentucky University with a B.A. in Art and had a passion for painting. His vibrant, colorful artwork reflected his joyful spirit and creative vision, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who experienced it.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shannon “Gibbons” Caswell; his son, Bo McGeHee; his mother, Cathy Caswell; his father, Brent Caswell; his brother, Christopher Caswell; his mother-in-law, Margaret Gibbons; and his father-in-law, Michael L. Gibbons, as well as many friends who he loved like family.
2 Corinthians 4:16 ; "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day".
