Arthur "Art" Joseph Hollinghurst

Arthur "Art" Hollinghurst, of Crestwood, Ky, passed away on October 27, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1937, Art was the youngest of seven children and was known for his kind heart, steadfast loyalty, and genuine interest in everyone he met.

After graduating from high school, Art proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was deeply proud of his service, often reflecting that it helped him mature and shaped the man he became.

In 1960, while working as a skate guard, he met the love of his live, Arlene. They married on August 12, 1961, beginning a lifelong adventure filed with laughter, family and countless cherished memories.

In 1972, they welcomed their beloved son, Glenn, whom Art adored. A devoted family man, Art found joy in time spent with those he loved. He had a deep appreciation for classic cars and 1950's music, and his stories and humor could brighten any room.

Art will be remembered for his kindness, his loyalty, and the way he made everyone feel like family. His warmth and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever treasured by all who knew him.

A Prayer Service/Rosary will be said at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, on November 2, 2025, at 5:00pm with a time of visitation from 5:30-7pm following the prayer service. Mass is scheduled at Immaculate Conception Church, 502 N 5th Ave, LaGrange, on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11am with burial to follow in St Aloysius Cemetery, Pewee Valley with Marine Military Honors. A reception will follow burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
