Barbara Lou Parrish

Barbara dedicated 50 years of her life to the Brownsboro Community Center, where she was actively involved and served on the Board. Her career at Wal-Mart as a Greeter for 20 years left a lasting impression on those who met her.

Barbara found joy in playing Bunco and was an accomplished piano player. Her faith was important to her, and she was a devoted member of Harrods Creek Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Lee Parrish Jr.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Garnett "Carl" Parrish, Lee Parrish, and Anthony Parrish; grandchildren, AJ, Brittany, Greg, Tyler, and Travis Parrish; great-grandchildren, Jackson Parish, Jayden Parrish, Ethan Alvarez, Giovanni Alvarez, Kingston Heightchew, Rilynn Parker, Anna McGovern, Jordyn Parrish, Taylor Woods and Zoey Woods; siblings, Judy Bowman and Buddy Minrath (Sharon); as well as extended family and friends.

The funeral service to celebrate the life of Barbara will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm. with burial to follow in Harrods Creek Cemetery in Crestwood, Kentucky. The family will accept visitors from 11:00 am until the start of the service at the funeral home.
