He was a member of Buckner Christian Church, retired UPS truck driver and Oldham County School Bus driver.
Survivors include his children: Robbie Simpson (Missy), Kim Valentine (Ed), DeDe Simpson, Bo Simpson (Deanna), Ashley Simpson (Nita) and Cory Simpson (Colleen); sister: Peggy Morgan;18 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday December 9, 2017 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation from 3-8 PM on Friday.
