She was a member of the United Methodist Church and a retired Buyer for G.C. Murphy Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, James Hamand and a grand daughter, Katie Beth Pierce.
Survivors include her sons, Roland Gary Hamand and Stan G. Hamand (Millie); 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with visitation from 4-7 PM before services. A graveside service will be held at Pontian Southside Cemetery in Pontiac IL at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
