She attended Grace Baptist Church and was a retired Supervisor for Kytronies.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Arvil Melton and son; Donnie Melton.
Survivors include her children: Larry Melton (Carolyn), Ronnie Melton, Brenda Wilson (Dave), Patty Barnes (George) and Tammy Hall (Scott); sister Evelyn Woosley; 16 grandchildren 30 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM.
