He was born to the late Billy and Sally Emma (Burgin) Rodgers on October 17, 1950, in Kentucky.
Billy Joe retired as a Master Plumber with Jolly Plumbing. He was a huge UK Basketball Fan, enjoyed NASCAR and muscle cars, especially driving his 69 Camero.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Zeke Jamison.
Left to cherish the memory of Billy Joe are his daughter, Michelle Jamison (Greg); grandchildren, Alexis, Emma, Daniel, and Gracie Mae; one great-grandson on the way, Myles; siblings, Lawrence "Junior" Rodgers (Betty), Barbara Hamman (Rod), Missi Mercer (Jeromy), and Carole Heady (Steven); many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of Life for Billy Joe will be held at a later date.
