

Brenda was a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree, and furthered her education by obtaining a master’s degree from the University of Louisville. Throughout her career, she dedicated herself to helping others as an addiction counselor for the Jefferson Drug Alcohol Knowledge Center (JDAK) and worked closely with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), tirelessly advocating for those in need.
A woman of many talents and interests, Brenda had a deep passion for the arts, finding joy in both painting and photography. Her creativity and appreciation for beauty were evident in her work and personal life. Brenda was always impeccably dressed, exuding a unique sense of style that reflected her vibrant personality.
Traveling internationally was one of Brenda’s greatest pleasures. She cherished the opportunity to explore the world, immersing herself in different cultures and experiences. Her adventurous spirit and open heart inspired everyone around her to embrace life to the fullest.
Brenda is survived by her loving children, Hannah Tweedy and Jason Thomas Dietrich; grandchildren, Cassidy Sisk and Zachary “Dylan” Dietrich; siblings, Candace Brooks and Janet Davis, many friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CASA reflecting Brenda's commitment to helping others.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
