He was born to the late William E and Melba (Jones) Gordon on April 14, 1946, in Evansville, Indiana. Buck was adopted by his late father, Emmett Douglas Herrell, when he was four.
Buck was a proud United States Army Veteran and worked for Steel Technology as a press operator and enjoyed being a leather worker at the Kentucky Renaissance Faire In Eminence, Kentucky. He loved his family, especially being Papaw to his grandchildren!
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Ronnie Herrell, Marjorie Rose, and Mary Raymer.
Left to cherish the memory of Buck are his wife of 47 years, Janet Herrell; children, Bradley Herrell (Marsha) and Erin Guillot (Warren); grandchildren, Emily Herrell, Annalise Guillot, and Eleanor Guillot; brother, Les Herrell (Karen); extended family, and many friends.
Buck requested no service and to be cremated which the family is honoring.
