This definitely doesn’t seem real. We played Baseball and Football together from NOLL and OCYFL all the way into high school. We lost contact after graduation but about 6 weeks ago I came across our old team pictures from little league through High School and an old article cut out that mentioned chase and I and our batting performance to help our team win at NOLL. We messaged back and forth briefly about the good ole days and I’m grateful we were able to connect when we did.. Chase was always a great guy so I know he had to be an even greater Dad, Husband, and Son. Although hard to understand, God has a plan and we’re never alone in times like these. My prayers go out to his family and closest friends.

Not sure this is even real...so saddened for such a great young man and great family. Will always remember that effervescent smile, humble manner, and definitely that artistic talent. I know he left a lasting legacy for his family and friends so in that way he will live on forever.

One of my earliest memories of Chase was back at Oldham County Middle School. We shot a film together about the Roman Empire for 7th grade history, spending the night at Ben Martini’s house to get the project done. We ended up staying up most of the night shooting goofy videos together. Chase was a great actor, and a great friend. You’ll be greatly missed, Chase.

Chase and I lost touch after high school. But I’m reminded of all the great memories we had playing football together and the camaraderie we had together as a team. Life seemed so much simpler in those years and I often catch myself wanting to go back. But that’s not the way God intended it to be and we have to press on even in the tough times that we face in life and continue to love. I’m so sorry to the family for your loss and I will certainly be praying for all of you.

My heart mourns for chases daughters and family. Chase and I worked together for a brief amount of time. In the time we knew him, we all grew so fond of him. We looked forward to his magic tricks, jokes and positive attitude everyday. He will be missed tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Chase. It had been years since I had talked to him. He DJ’d my moms birthday party and it was so good to see him and catch up. My favorite memories of Chase were his artistic abilities, his good nature and his purple shoes in high school! One thing we figured out a long time ago was we were born on the same day, just hours apart in the same hospital, we probably shared the same nursery. RIP friend, I know you will be so very missed.

Chase my brother,
I always consider you my brother. I considered all of the guys my brothers since I didn't have any, but you and I man. We live a street apart from each other. I'd walk over to your house and slide my big body down into your basement (which was a job itself lol) and we spent hours and days just hanging out and being brothers. You were there for me during my bad times, and I was there for you during yours. So many many memories that you and I have had and shared together and with our friends. You will always be one of my brothers. Love you man. -Tico-

We had so many memories together. He had a spot in my heart. I would see him in Walmart often and he would always stop to talk to me and catch up. I am praying for his girls and his family. I know he was loved very much.

Chase and I spent a lot of time together in high school and I remember Dotty telling me a story about Chase when he was a child. She told me that she was leaving for work one day and Chase told her that he was going to teach his how to play Fur Elise by Beethoven on his keyboard. By the time she returned that day he could play the whole song. That was Chase...when he set his mind to something he didn't let up until he finished and Fur Elise is still my favorite classical music song. He was loved and will forever be missed.
