Claudine Francoise Finn

Born in Issoudun, France, Claudine carried her French heritage with pride throughout her life. She built a life centered on family, friendship, and community, and was known for her warmth, quiet strength, and generous spirit.

She had a lifelong passion for quilting and was an active member of several quilting clubs, where she enjoyed creating beautiful pieces and forming lasting friendships. She also remained closely connected to her French roots through French clubs and treasured every opportunity to speak her native language and celebrate her heritage.

Above all else, Claudine loved being with her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She took immense pride in watching her family grow through the generations, and the love she shared with them will remain one of her greatest legacies.

Claudine is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Reeve (Doug) and Barbara Wallender (Paul); her sons, Patrick Finn (Gail) and Brian Finn (Monica); her cherished grandchildren: Ryan Reeve (Stacie), the late Patrick Reeve, Paul Michael Wallender, Hannah Ehlig (Russell), Danielle Smith (Wesley), Lindsey Smith (Mimi), Ashley Finn (Mikalanne), Lauren Nelson (Chris), Jarred Finn, and Hayden Finn; and her sisters, Denise Raveau and France Jusserand.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl; her parents; and her brothers, Michel Lalou and Jean-Jacques Lalou.

She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren: Palmer, Finley, Grace, Cooper, Kellan, Harper, Adalynn, Claire, Wesley, Keelin, Oliver, Olivia, Ethan, Dylan, Alexis, Gabriel, and Hattie, as well as many extended family members and dear friends in both the United States and France.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Claudine's life during visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W. Jefferson Street, La Grange, Kentucky. Funeral services will immediately follow the Sunday visitation.

The family would like to thank the physicians, nurses, and caregivers who treated Claudine with compassion during her final days.

She will be remembered not only for the beautiful quilts she created, but for the love, kindness, and unwavering devotion she stitched into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
