He was born on April 20, 1962 to Ernest William Roston Sr. and Nannie “Nan” Ellen Roston in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dana was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He was a feather weight Boxer by trade, starting his career in 1979 with a win by KO. Over his 16 year career, which included 263 rounds, He won 9 matches by KO. Dana boxed in many locations around the U.S., and two international locations, London and Canada.
He is preceded in death by Mom; Nannie “Nan” Ellen Roston and Brother; Ernest William Roston Jr.
Left to cherish the memory of Dana, are is Aunts; Virginia Thomas (Billy), Mary Ross and Martha Johnson, Uncles; William Ross and Donald “Pop” Ross, numerous cousins and extended family and friends.
A Home Going service will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 West Jefferson Street, LaGrange, Kentucky on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 1PM, with burial to follow at Valley Of Rest in LaGrange. A visitation will be held at 12pm until the start of service.
