Dan graduated from PRP in 1964 and received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from U of L. He was a member of Kappa Sigma at UK and a Life Scout. Dan was the founder of Brewer Chemicals and retired from CSX. He was a music enthusiast and a member of The Uniques and the Kosair Shriners band.
He is preceded in death by his father; Bennie R. Brewer and the love of his life, his wife; Tina Goff Brewer.
Left to cherish the memory of Dan are his mother; Marjorie McQueary, step-daughter; Delayna Cowley Nestell, sister; Gail Burke (Wayne), niece: Shannon Burke LaDow, nephew; Brian Burke, and great niece and nephews; Coleman LaDow, Kathryn LaDow, and Bennett LaDow.
A service to honor the life of Mr. Brewer will be held Saturday at Noon at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange with visitation Friday evening from 4-8pm.
Memorial donations can be made in Dan’s name to Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
