It has been my honor to work with and know Earl Wayne during my years at the Kentucky State Reformatory and Roederer Correctional Complex. He was very dependable, focused, and a "go to guy" when a crisis occurred. He maintained a very high degree of integrity. Of course, he was in the top 1% of fans in the Wildcat Nation.

Earl Wayne had at least two characteristics I witnessed on a number of occasions.
1. Always a smile and kind word.
2. His pride and the continuing satisfaction shown when asked about Holly and her accomplishments.

Rest in peace my friend,
Jim and Gingy Grider
