Elizabeth "Liz" Ashley Bayer

Elizabeth was born on January 20, 1990, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to Germaine and Kenneth Overstreet.

Liz graduated from Ballard High School in 2008, then went on to Empire Hair School. She started working for Humana in 2015.

She is survived by her husband, Chad Bayer; her stepson, Zachary Bayer; her parents, Germaine and Kenneth Overstreet; her siblings, Beverly, Matthew (Kim), Justin, Tabitha, and Jared(Sade); Mother-in-law Lillian Bayer, Sister-in-law Becky (Charlie), Brother-in-law Adam(Dana), her best friend Michelle Shine who she considered a sister; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law Bill Bayer.

Liz was a beautiful soul who found joy in the simple things in life. She loved the beach, traveling, and making memories wherever life took her. She had a kind and generous heart and was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. Liz will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and in all the lives she touched.

A Funeral Service for Liz will be held at at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home on Saturday, August 22, 2026, beginning at 2 pm with visitation from 11:00 am until the start of service. Visitation will also be held Friday evening, August 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
