Moe was born to Elmo Sr and Iris Bullitt Thomas on May 8, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Moe was a member of Pleasantville Baptist Church. He worked at Oldham County Middle School and was a Chemical Engineer Supervisor at Cat Tech. He was an avid UofL fan, baseball was his favorite sport. Moe enjoyed working around the farm, hanging out at the swamp. He enjoyed fishing with Mark, Junie, Hammer and his Uncle, James. Moe was happiest when spending time with his best buddies, Joe (brother) and Kingston (honorary grandson). He loved people, telling stories and never said "No" to anyone. Moe's favorite quote when asked how he was doing was saying, "Fine and Dandy!"
He was preceded in death by his father; Elmo Newton Thomas Sr and niece; Madeline Thomas.
Left to cherish the memory of Moe are his mother; Iris Thomas, siblings; Robert Lee Thomas (Nancy), Jennye Thomas, Margie Thomas and Joseph Roy Thomas, nieces and nephews; DeWitt, Brittany, DeCarlos, Whitney and Sophia Thomas, great-nieces; NaDeeya Thomas, Lariah Owens, Xria Thomas, Camyah Owens, Riley Solomon, Safari Thomas and Mya Solomon, a host of Aunts and Uncles, many cousins, Bobbi, Tina, Kingston and Mia Miller, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Moe's Life will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 1pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow at Eminence Cemetery in Eminence, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11am until the start of the service.
