Frank was born to the late Earl and Naomi (Kitchens) Grace on Thursday, May 3, 1945 at home in rural Warren County, Kentucky.
Mr. And Mrs. Grace moved to Louisville when Frank was a child to have access to better healthcare. Frank and his 2 brothers John and Doug made many fun memories growing up in Old Louisville.
On Sept 7,1963 Frank met Margaret "Maggie" Grace on a blind date set up by friends. They fell in love "a few months" after that blind date. They married July 24,1965 beginning their 53 year marriage. Their first son Joseph was born in 1968.Then in 1975 making them a family of four their son Christopher was born. Frank and Maggie welcomed their youngest son Andrew in 1987. Completing their family of six they welcomed their only daughter Angela in 1990. For many years the Grace's made their home in the south side of Louisville until moving to Oldham County 21 years ago.
Frank worked as a production manager for over 40 years at Grindmaster in Louisville. Where his brothers and sons have all worked. Most weekends Frank could be found in the garage tinkering with his sons on a car or home project. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his ever growing family. Frank was also a collector of Derby memorabilia, coins and Nascar memorabilia. He was an avid fan of American Pickers and thoroughly enjoyed watching Mike and Frank on their finds.
Proceeding Frank in death are his parents Earl and Naomi (Kitchens) Grace, his brother John Grace and his grandchild Frances Grace.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother Doug, his wife of 53 years Maraget "Maggie" Grace, His 3 loving sons and their wives, Joseph (Alison), Christopher (Christina), Andrew (Lauren) and his loving daughter Angela Grace. Frank's legacy continues through his 15 grandchildren Alexandria Davis (Nicholas), Christian (Kelsi), Ashlyn, Caiden, Justin Pybus, Johann Pybus, Jude Pybus, Agnes, Benjamin Walker, Mariela, Ryker, Shaun Wiseman, Kateri, Magdala, and Talon. Frank is blessed with 2 Great Granddaughters Abigail Davis, Madalee Davis, with his 3rd granddaughter Everly Davis due in January.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, September 28th at Heady Radcliffe 311 W. Jefferson St. Lagrange, Kentucky 40031. Visitation is Wednesday, September 27th anytime between 4pm - 8pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Valley Rest in Lagrange. In addition to flowers donations may be made to Hosparus of Health or the Salvation Army.
