Gene Wesley Harpool

Born on June 27, 1947, Gene was a proud resident of Portland, Louisville.

He enjoyed spending time with Glenn and his other buddies at the local pubs, where he often relaxed with his favorite vodka drink. Gene was also a passionate boxing enthusiast and spent many hours in the ring. One of the highlights of his boxing days was having the opportunity to spar with Muhammad Ali himself.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Denkoff.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Elizabeth Green (Michael Drane); 5 grandchildren: Brooke Conner, Joseph Green, Morgan Foley, Zoe Patterson, & Emma Foley; great-grandchildren: Joseph, Everly, Ember, Wrenlee, Kade, Aria, Arizona, Phoenix & Keith; as well as many extended family and friends.
