He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. George retired from LG&E and was a retired Master Sergeant with the US Army and also served during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Jan Kelley Thompson; children, Kimberly Brown (Paul), Karen Eddins (William), Kristie Robertson (Mark), Betty Carey (Paul), Michael Evridge (Amanda) and William Evridge (Michele); sister, Barbara Kamer (Bob); 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and his Queen Victoria.
A funeral Service will be conducted at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation from 4-8 PM on Monday.
