Gwendolyn "Gwen” Wills (Lawson) Shaw, a resident of LaGrange, Kentucky, passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 64. She was born on April 15, 1961, in LaGrange, Kentucky the baby of six children to the late Clarence Edward and Dorothy May (Farmer) Lawson.
Gwen received a Bachelor of Arts from Morehead State University. She excelled in all forms of art, with a particular passion for painting and ceramics.
She enjoyed traveling both domestically and internationally, with her favorite trip being to the Grand Canyon. Gwen's legacy includes her advocacy for organ donation, where she was able to give the gift of sight through the donation of her corneas.
Left to cherish the memory of Gwen are her husband, Rollin "Rocky" Shaw Jr; siblings, Mary Louise Lawson, Rosalyn Lawson, Leslie Phillips (Mike), Eddy Lawson (Gina), and Annette Woods (Eddie); nieces and nephews, Heather, Cybil, Lauren, Courtney, Meagan, Ashley, Darin, Doree, Gabe, and Daniel; extended family and friends.
Gwen's closest family and friends will gather for private services to celebrate her life.
