She was a member of LaGrange Baptist Church and a member of the Agape Sunday School Class. Hallie was a 1950 graduate of LaGrange High School, and a retired credit clerk for Belknap Hardware.
Hallie will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, sister and Nana.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Merle Thomas Purvis her husband of 62 years; children: Candy Purvis Forman and Darrell Thomas Purvis (Elisabeth); grandsons: Travis Roman (Leigh-Anna) and Chandler Forman (Sara); great grandchildren: Morrigan Roman and Cassius Roman; brothers: James Bailey Davis (Rosie) and Bill Davis (Brenda); sister: Sue Davis Dawson and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
