A devoted member of DeHaven Baptist Church, Helen has faithfully served as the Sunday School secretary and was a beloved member of the choir. She found great joy in playing the piano and singing. Helen also had a deep love for reading and spent countless hours enjoying books.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 66 years, Orville “Ollie” Howard. She is also survived by her sons: Phillip Ray Howard (Iris L. Ng), Richard Lynn Howard, and John Jay Howard (Sonia Danette); 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Helen will be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering faith, and the love she shared with her family and church community.
A visitation for Helen will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at DeHaven Baptist Church, 300 W Main St, La Grange, KY 40031.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Valley Of Rest in LaGrange.
