

She was the widow of longtime Kentucky Baptist Minister, A.L. Meacham.
She lived in LaGrange since 1953 where her husband was a pastor of DeHaven Memorial Baptist Church, now LaGrange Baptist, for 24 years.
She was a Graduate of Western Kentucky University and attended classes at Southern Baptist Seminary. In addition to being a pastor’s wife for more than 50 years she was a public school librarian and teacher for more than 30 years in Christian and Oldham County schools. She was a recording secretary of Kentucky Baptist WMU for 5 years in the 1970’s and taught Sunday School for more than 50 years.
She was born in Christian County Kentucky to Mr. and Mrs. Andrew B. Haile on November 16, 1918. She also lived in Dawson Springs for several years where her husband was pastor of First Baptist Church.
Her husband preceded her in death on October 3, 1996.
Survivors include her children: Elaine M. Duncan (Anthony) and Steve H. Meacham (Maryann); grandsons: Scott Duncan (Kristen), Brent Duncan (Jenn), Nicholas Meacham (Dawn), Jonathan Meacham (Bethany) and Aaron Meacham; great grandchildren: Carter Duncan, Tyler Duncan, Story Duncan, Noah Meacham and Jonah Meacham; brothers; Douglas Haile (Veta), Rex Haile and Bob Haile (Betty)
Funeral Service 11:00 AM at LaGrange Baptist Church. Burial in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home and Cremation Services and after 10 AM at the church on Friday.
