He was born on September 16, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Henry Lee Sr. and Ernestine (Carnahan) Lisenby.
Butch retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service, having worked many roles and was a member of the Local 862 UAW. He was a member of the PeWee Valley Masonic Lodge 829 F&AM, where he served as a Past Master.
Butch loved fishing at Kentucky Lake, boating and camping at Dale Hollow, and tinkering in the garage on his Ford vehicles, and numerous projects. He also enjoyed taking a road trip with his wife on their Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Spenton and Barbara Lisenby.
Left to cherish the memory of Butch are his wife of 48 years, Vickey Lisenby; daughters, Ashley Hemmerle (Jonathon) and Sarah Lisenby; grandchildren, Hayden Lee Hemmerle and Henry Richard Lisenby; extended family and numerous friends.
A celebration of Butch's life will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 3pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY 40031 with a time of gathering from 1pm until the start of the service. There will be a Masonic Service at 3pm to start the service.
