Howard "Howdie" Ross Clausen Jr.

He was born to the late Howard Sr. and Elizabeth "Bet" Adams Clausen on December 12, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Howdie was a member of Memphis Christian Church. He loved the Bible and helping his wife make rosaries that they would donate to churches and hospitals. Howdie was proud of his work as a Brick Mason. Howdie was happiest spending time with the love of his life, Patty, to the extent that they were never seen apart.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Patricia "Patty" Clausen; and grandson; Cory Raybrook.

Left to cherish the memory of Howdie are his children, Jerry Clausen (Irene), Tommy Clausen (Anita) and Heather Couch (Jason); 9 grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicholas (Amber), Kristin (Alex), Jordan (Tabbytha), Brandon (Nichole), Skyler (Riley), Jacob, Tanner, and Lucas; 11 great-grandchildren, cousin and lifelong best friend, M. Thomas Clausen (Judy); extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Howdie will be held at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 9611 W Hwy 42, Goshen, KY 40026, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 1pm with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until the start of the service at the church.
