He was a Presbyterian, a WWII army Veteran and retired delivery driver for Suburban Propane.
Survivors include his children: Joyce Ann Schroeder, Donna Sue Schroeder and James R. Schroeder II; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 12, 2012, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
