Janice Corley Truman Barr

Born on November 15, 1945 in Trimble County, KY, Janice was the daughter of the late Wilda and Grace Corley.

Janice found her greatest joy outdoors. She loved gardening, planting flowers, tending to her yard, and simply spending time outside surrounded by nature. Her love for flowers and the beauty she created will be remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Truman Maddox; and her siblings, Vonnie Colvin, Duwayne “Phillip” Corley, Darrell Corley, Birdie Payton, and her sister & best friend Mary McClanahan.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Ronald Lee Barr; her children, Jeffrey S. Truman, Bonnie J. Truman Dennie, Jacque L. Hancock (Chad), and Tammy Ann Mills; her siblings, David, Gary, Rhonda, Doug, and Pat; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, along with extended family and friends who will dearly miss her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 West Jefferson Street, LaGrange, KY 40031.

A funeral service celebrating Janice's life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the time of the service.
