Jeffrey "Jeffro" Lynn Curtis, 61, of Bedford, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019.

He was born to the late James Allen Sr. and Iva Lois Whitworth Curtis on December 14, 1957 in PeWee Valley, Kentucky.

Jeffro was a man of the dirt! He worked for Anything Grows for 34 years and put his heart and soul into his love for plants, trees and mother earth. He was a Blues man to the bone; attending many blues festivals/concerts and was a member of The Kentuckiana Blues Society. Jeffro also had a love for hunting, fishing and Jesus!

He had a smile that warmed your soul and a laugh that was soothing and happy. Jeffro would help anyone in need, just because of his kind heart. He was a gentle, loving man that was gifted by God to all of those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother; Gary Lee Curtis.

Left to cherish the wonderful memories of Jeffro are his Fiance; Mary Ann Rajabi, brothers; Jim Curtis (Fran) and Paul Ray Curtis, sister; Carole Eisenmenger, numerous nieces and nephews, his family at The Kentuckiana Blues Society, and his extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Jeffro's Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 3pm with visitation from 11am until the start of the service at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky 40031.

A note from Mary Ann, "I do know I will see you again and will forever be your soul mate and life partner. Love forever my man of dirt and Blues, 'til we meet again My Love."

Jeff,
You were always my funny Uncle who could bring me out of a slump like no other. I am going to miss you. I will always love you and it will be hard not seeing you around here. You brought laughter, memories and stories of old times to the table during any occasion whether just stopping by or on holidays and so on. This place won't be the same. Now you are in heaven joining Maw maw and paw paw...Gary. Say hi to them...someday we will see each other again with the joy of laughter that you brought us in life. RIP Uncle...we will never forget you.

I met Jeff through his job at Anything Groes. He always had a smile, a joke or a funny store to make you smile. We greatly missed him after his health issues but was able to keep in touch through Facebook..

I was so shocked to hear of his death and the circumstances make it even worse. I pray that there will be justice for Jeff. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I can envision him tending to God's gardens and making the angels laugh. He truly had a heart of gold and a green thumb.

Our condolences to Jeffro’s fiancé, family and friends. He was truly a man of the dirt. He exhibited a true love like no other to his plants. Jeff worked with us at The Wells Group for almost 20 years. He always had a smile on his face and always said something to make you laugh. We will miss you Jeffro! Heaven truly gained an angel. I really got know this wonderful kind man this past year. We’ve been cousins for life but never had the pleasure of learning about each other until recently. Jeff definitely made an impression on my life and my heart breaks for all we have lost by losing him so soon.
Prayers ongoing for his brothers and sister and all the family.

I’m so sad to hear about Jeff’s passing. I first met him back in junior high and we hit it off almost immediately. He was always quick with a laugh. He was a good and faithful friend throughout the years. I will never forget when my mother passed last year, he couldn’t come to the visitation but he made it a point to call me and offer his condolences. He was that kind of man. Our loss is heaven’s gain. Godspeed, brother Jeff. You will be missed. We’ll meet again on the other side.

Jeff Curtis , you will be missed and my heart breaks for us all. Not to often you get to meet someone with a heart of gold .He always showed kindness and thought of his fellow man and woman with a smile on his face. He really just loved people and his Kentucky Wildcats. I'll never forget going to Louisville to watch Kentucky play and on the way we were in Jeff's old run down jeep and it was raining cats and dogs outside, the jeep leaked and all the way to the game we had to hold up umbrellas in the backseat, Lord did we laugh about that for years, still do.
I want everyone to know that Jeff is a true friend, a good decent man and I'll never forget him or his friendship.

I remember the Frampton hair and 98 pound boy of the 70's. Jeff had a kind heart and , like him, that heart just grew bigger through the years. His sense of humor was unique and he could apply it to any situation and make it better. Solidly great guy and friend. Total blessing to all who knew him. Prayers for his family and friends.
