He was a Baptist, Kentucky Colonel, army veteran and a retired Captain for the Department of Corrections.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Lois Carol Forgy; children: Lisa Marie Ricketts (Roy) and Timothy Joe Forgy; granddaughter: Callie Ricketts; and sisters: Vivian Johnson and Martha Blackford (Mike).
Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday 4-8 PM.
