Susie was born in Louisville to the late Matthew and Thelma Powell Dempley and graduated from Oldham County High School in 1973. She was a retired hairdresser and caregiver.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Marshall Edward Bruce, Sr.; second husband, Terry Dale Clubb; parents; brother, Matthew Scott Dempley; and brother-in-law, Richard Halstead.
Carrying on Susie’s legacy are her daughter, Aricka Royalty (Jeffery); sisters, Anna Halstead and Monica Bell; extended love ones, Melanie Franz and Danielle Ford; one niece; two nephews; three great-nephews; four great-nieces; and Nana to her beloved animals.
Visitation for Susie will be from 4-8PM on Friday, November 14 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W. Jefferson Street in LaGrange, Kentucky and from 10AM to 12PM on Saturday, November 15 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 12PM on Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at Pleasureville Cemetery.
Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oldham County Humane Society.
