

She was born to the late Clarence Kelly "CK" and Chloe Della Horton on December 17, 1935, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Judy received her Bachelor's degree for education from Pikeville College. She taught elementary education for Oldham County Public Schools, all over the county.
Judy was an avid church goer at Covenant United Methodist Church, always greeting people as they entered. She loved scrapbooking, making a cherished book for each of her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Coffey.
Left to cherish the memory of Judy are her children, Diane Constant (Kim), Mike Coffey (Cindy), and Paula Coates (Barry); grandchildren, Lauren Little (Taylor), Michael Coates (Haley), and Madeline Coffey; great-grandchildren, Barrett, Emmi, and Sam Little; sisters, Deanne Craddock (Frank) and Pat Schrenker (John); beloved feline, Molly; extended family, and friends.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 12:30pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange with a time of visitation from 10am until the start of the service. A private internment will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Judy's name can be directed to Grace Baptist Church.
