

She was born to the late Garrett Hobart and Lena Viola (Samples) Walker in Jericho, Kentucky on April 4, 1936.
Katheryn was a big fan of music, especially gospel, country, and Bob Seger. She was an amazing seamstress and sewer, making clothing for her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James "Mott" McDaniel Miller; children, Janet Miller and Alan Miller; granddaughter, Patricia Alice Brown; great-grandchildren; Adrienne Nicole Brown, Jonathon Bentley, and Eden Rae Mattingly; and siblings, Earl Walker, Alvin Walker, Charles Walker, Orville Walker, Thelma Denton, and Dorothy Shinkle.
Left to cherish the memory of Katheryn are her children, Teresa Goben (Don), Verna Pettit (Mack), Jimmy Miller (Penny), Karen Searcy, Dorothy Miller (Henry), Doris Miller, Anthony Miller, and WIlliam Miller; 20 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and one on the way, 21 great-great-grandchildren and three on the way, 1 great-great-great-grandson, sister, Christine Bright; extended family and friends.
A celebration of Katheryn's life will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky with burial to follow at Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4-7pm and Tuesday morning from 11-1 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers to honor Katheryn are Leonard Holcomb, Coty Holcomb, Wyatt Taylor, George McCoy Jr, James "Jimbo" Miller Jr, Jordan Bales, Jager Mattingly, and John "Jack" Rader.
Memorial donations can be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project in Katheryn's memory.
