He was born to the late Donald and Luetta Hunter in Indiana on March 6, 1962.
Kent was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and loved muscle cars.
He is preceded in death by his brother; Dennis Hunter.
Left to cherish the memory of Kent are his wife of 24 years; Elizabeth "Libby" Hunter, 4 children; Melissa Johnson (Ben), Derek Hunter, Christopher Kelley and Shawn Kelley (Jenifer), 7 grandchildren, 3 brothers; Jerry Hunter (Judy), Ken Hunter (Tina) and Mark Hunter (Vicky), extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Liberty Baptist Church, 2613 Liberty Ln, Goshen, KY 40026 on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 6pm.
