She was a member of DeHaven Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband John Waits Sr.
Survivors include her children, Kelle Thornhill (Damian) and David Scott Miller; Brother Gary Ferguson(Sandy); sisters, Betty "Susie" Miller and Iris Basham; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation from 11 AM until service time on Thursday.
