Marcellia Barnett Whisman

She was born to the late Marshall and Thelma McGuire Barnett in Henry County, KY on January 12, 1941.

Marcellia was a member of LaGrange United Pentecostal Church and enjoyed reading, crocheting, and music, especially Michael English.

She is preceded in death by her sister; Betty Gilbert.

Left to cherish the memory of Marcellia are her husband of 62 years; Enoch Walker Whisman, sons; Tony Whisman (Wendy), Terry Whisman, and Bradley Whisman (Jill), 12 grandchildren; Tiffany Finch, Brannon Whisman, Travis Walker Whisman, Lauren Elizabeth Whisman, Anthony Paul Whisman, Shannon Edds (Melissa), Kelly Edds, Bobbi Jo Crouch, Samantha Whisman, Jordan Whisman, Parker Hicks, and Mason Hicks, 13 great-grandchildren; Tia, Noah, River, Jocelyn, Abel, Leighton, Ethan, Presley, Michael, Patrick, Hunter, Tucker, and Dorothy, siblings; Carter Barnett (Paula), Glenn Barnett (Janice), Everett Barnett, and Vicki Barnsfather, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Marcellia at a later date at her church.

Memorial donations can be made in Marcellia’s name to Lagrange Pentecostal Church.
