Margaret Anne Anderson

She was born on April 12th, 1946, in West Liberty, Kentucky.

Margaret was a resident of Good News Homes, where she was part of a tight-knit community who cherished her. You would often find her at the Oldham County Library as an avid reader or feeding and caring for the local stray cats. As an animal lover, Margaret spent a great deal of time with her beloved shih Tzu, Buddy.

An honorable moment of Margaret's career was becoming one of the first female officers at Kentucky State Reformatory.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory is her son; James Conley (Angela), her grandchildren; Courtney Johnson (Jay) and Zach Willis, her great-grandchildren; Gavin Alexander, Jordan Johnson, and Emery Johnson, her minister; Don Wright (Bambi), and many extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Heady-Radcliffe on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 5:00 PM.
