She was born to the late Robert A. And Margaret S. Burge in LaGrange, Kentucky on February 22, 1940.
Peggy was a Deacon at LaGrange Christian Church, where she was a longtime member. She was a volunteer at Baptist Health LaGrange and the Oldham County Historical Society. Peggy was a teacher at LaGrange Elementary for 27 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert S "Bobby" Burge.
Left to cherish the memory of Peggy are her sister, Missy Bryant (Tommy); and nieces and nephews, Jay Smith (Cheyenne), Lyndsay Szydlowski (Patrick), Becky Munroe (Glenn), Robert Burge (Rita) and Jeffrey Burge.
A celebration of Peggy's life will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 4pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY with a time of gathering from 2pm until the start of the service. A private burial will take place at Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange.
