Marita Ann Hanusin Clark

Marita Ann Hanusin Clark, 55, of Crestwood, Kentucky passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, surrounded by her close friends and family. Born on October 5, 1970, in Kingston, Pennsylvania to the late George and Barb (Shampack) Hanusin.

Marita graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School in Plymouth, Pennsylvania in 1988. She then graduated from York College in Pennsylvania in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Besides being a fulltime mom, Marita previously worked for Pioneer Direct Marketing in Louisville, Kentucky, Wal-Mart and A. Rifkin Co. in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, and Encon in Dallas, Pennsylvania.

Marita was a member of Saint Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church in Swoyersville. Her passion in life was being her children's biggest fan, always interested in what they were interested in, thereby sharing the greatest gifts of all: time and love.

She is preceded in death by her parents and many aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish the memory of Marita are her husband, Stephen Clark; children, Mariah Clark, Samantha Clark (Tristen Bare), and Matthew Clark; brother, Michael Hanusin (Jan Gabrielson); lifelong best friend, Tracy Walsh; extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky, on November 15, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a short prayer service to follow at 7:00 pm.

An Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy to be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Saint Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, 271 Tripp Street, Swoyersville. Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in the Saint Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Swoyersville.

Family and Friends may call on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4-7pm at Wroblewski Funeral Home, Inc., 1442 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of gratitude may be made to Hosparus Health or the American Cancer Society in Marita’s memory.
