Mr. Yantz was born in Scottsburg, IN on May 1, 1959, to the late Ray Wesley Yantz and Sharon Ann Yantz.
Mr. Yantz was an US Army veteran who served (3) years of service in Berlin, Germany. He was a charter pilot for (20) years. Most recently he was employed as a concrete truck driver for Nelson Ready Mix in Livington, TX. He was a member of LaGrange Assembly of God Church. He loved antiquing and enjoying walks with his dog, Koda.
He is survived by (3) brothers: Roy Yantz of Blocher, IN; Darrell (Setha) Yantz of Livington, TX; Ralph (DeeDee) Yantz of LaGrange, KY; and (1) sister: Cheryl (Bryan) Young of Warsaw, KY and (8) nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering for Marvin will be held Friday, July 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at LaGrange Assembly of God, 2109 W. Highway 146, LaGrange, KY 40031, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. A Veteran’s Memorial service to honor Mr. Yantz will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 1415 N. Gate Road, Madison, IN.
