Mary was born on December 11, 1954 in Knox County, KY to James and Mary Gartland. After graduating high school, she was married to the love of her life, Ron Jones, and followed him to Germany where he was stationed as a member of the Army. Most recently, she spent 40 years working for Hunting Creek County Club in Prospect, KY as an Accounts Receivable clerk and office administrator.
Mary is survived by her children Mamie (Corey) Finewood, Mandy Jones (Troy Richard), Michelle (Jimmy) Schwarz, DJ (Shelby) Jones and Justin Jones; and her seven grandchildren Madison, Alexis, Cooper, Clark, Barry, Elena and Everett. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Gartland, and her husband Ron Jones.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange, KY. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM before the service.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter, but most especially she was a faithful believer in her Lord and Savior.
